Celebrating 16 years as a voice over artist. The journey so far has been filled with opportunities to learn, unlearn, understand changing trends in communication strategy and get the job done accordingly.
The ride has had its high points and surprises too. A challenge I've faced - There have been few occasions when the client brief changes mid way during /after the recording and you are left wondering what to do next. Thankfully that doesn't happen often.
I'm thankful for the producers and agencies who have a clear understanding on what they are looking for and that makes the process pleasurable. Sound engineers are amazing team players who help the artist deliver what the client desires.
A Bible verse that motivates me is Colossians 3:17 And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.
