In the book, 'Start with Why', the author Simon Sinek shares with us the importance of asking the question Why with reference to the existence of our organization. To share a quote from the book - Very few people or companies can clearly articulate WHY they do WHAT they do. Many times we say WHAT we do, we sometimes say HOW we do it, but we rarely say WHY we do WHAT we do. Understanding the WHY gives the people of the organization purpose and motivation. It helps in making the tough decisions because you go to the core reason of existence for the organization. Applicable for fund raising pitches as well. Find your why and you will find your way.
