Effective communication plays a vital role in teamwork and collaboration. On the other hand, POOR TEAM COMMUNICATION can lead to:

1.CONFUSION AND CHAOS:

Confusion will arise if team members are not very clear on their responsibilities which could eventually kill the project. Poor communication can also lead to misunderstanding, mistakes and chaos

2.LOW MORALE: If conflict is not handled promptly, it can cause loss of morale and motivation, leading to poor performance.

We understand that it is normal to have differing opinions within a team. So here is what we should do:

SUGGESTIONS:

1.CANDID COMMUNICATION AT TEAM MEETINGS:

Team members ought to feel free to offer helpful comments, ask questions, and share ideas. Team members should not fear speaking a different opinion in front of the team leader.

2.SET CLEAR EXPECTATIONS:

Every team member ought to have a clear understanding of personal expectations as well as the team goal.

3. DISAGREEMENT WITHOUT DISRESPECT:

This is a statement inspired by John Maxwell. Building a work culture of mutual respect is what promotes a positive work environment.

Focusing on these qualities develop a strong team environment which plays a key role in building mature leaders.
