As a voice artist, one is constantly trying on different hats. Consider this :-
One might start off in the afternoon playing the role of an English Teacher for an audio book, only to find oneself a few hours later working on a medical film, advising pregnant mothers on maternity healthcare. You know what I mean!
Be it money talk, infrastructure, sports, current affairs or simply some cool animations, understanding the agency brief is super important in order to get the job done.
Stage performances are a completely different story. Live shows allow you to engage with the audience and interact with a lot more people at a single point of time. Getting the audience geared in, revving up their spirits and guiding them on, is what gives one a real thrill.
As I continue to explore this dynamic world of stage and sound, the one thing that inspires me each day is reading the Bible. The selfless life of Jesus Christ, which climaxed in Him giving up everything for the sins of mankind – Well, that’s something to think about.
All in all, work is fun, when you do what you love and love what you do.
